Tree Planting

The scout group were invited to attend the unveiling ceremony of a new wood sculpture at the pond on Suters Drive. The sculpture and seat by Martin Pigg offer a new lease of life to a tree originally planted by the group nearly 30 years ago.
Derek Sizeland and David Herring, who ran the cub pack when the original tree was planted, were also able to attend the planting of a new tree by young members of the group. The new Norway Maple 'Pacific Sunset' will add a touch of autumn colour.
